Tour Description:

Visit to the WAT CHAYAMANGKALARAM (Reclining Buddha Temple) and DHARMIKARAMA BURMESE TEMPLE where you’ll witness the famous GOLDEN RECLINING BUDDHA statue and be awed by the intricate architecture of both temples. Next, be taken back in time to Penang’s colonial past at the COLONIAL PENANG MUSEUM before stopping for a little retail therapy of local products at the Cocoa Boutique. Head down town for a tour of the heritage zone filled with old COLONIAL BUILDINGS, and where the famous historic Fort Cornwallis is situated. Be sure to capture as much as you can when you break for a ‘photo stop’! Continue on past the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower and proceed to the waterfront where you’ll get a chance to walk along the CLAN JETTY, where houses are built on stilts. After this, take a slow drive through the much talked about STREET OF HARMONY, where houses of worship for the four main religions fall on the same street.
